Aztec Scholar-Athlete… Appeared and started in all 28 games, earning starts in each of the last 16 contests (SDSU was 15-0 in his first 15 starts as an Aztec)… Averaged 8.6 points and 1.5 rebounds in 24.3 minutes per game… Added 63 assists and 26 steals in 681:01 of action… Shot 87-of-203 (42.9 percent) from the floor, 51-of-127 (40.2 percent) from distance, and 15-of-17 (88.2 percent) from the line… Led the team in scoring three times and in assists nine times… Finished the year ranked second on the team in assists, 3-pointers & 3-point attempts… Among those that took at least 25 threes, his .412 shooting percentage from distance ranked second on the team… Among 12 double digit scoring efforts (SDSU was 10-2 in those games), had a season-high 20 in the MW championship quarterfinal vs. Wyoming (3/11)… Hit four or more field goals on 13 occasions, including a season best eight vs. Wyoming in the MW tournament quarterfinal against Wyoming (3/11)… Going 4-of-4 overall and  2-of-2 from distance vs. Boise State (2/25), marked the only time in his collegiate career (124 games) he was perfect from either the floor or the bonus distance in a game... Big West Freshman of the Year… A starter in all 30 games… Averaged 11.7 points and 2.4 rebounds in 34.1 minutes per game… Added 109 assists and 19 steals in 1,022 total minutes… His .461 three-point field goal percentage and 65 three-point field goals made rank No. 2 and No. 5 in program history, respectively... Among 18 double figure scoring games, he had three with 20 or more points, including a season-high 24 at Long Beach State (1/10/18)… Had one multi-steal effort with three at Eastern Washington (12/17/17)… Totaled 22 multi-assists games, including 12 with five or more assists and a season best 10 versus UC Davis (2/1/18)… Snatched multiple rebounds in 22 contests including a single-game best  six versus Hawai’i (1/6/18)… First career double-double (10 points & 10 assists) came against UC Davis… Drained a single-game high nine field goals at California (11/28/17)… In going 6-of-10 from the bonus distance, he set season-bests for both makes and attempts at Long Beach State… Set career bests in free throw attempts and makes going 6-of-6 from the line against Hawai’i.

High School
A graduate of Inglewood (Calif.) High School… A three-year varsity letterwinner… Earned Daily Breeze All-Area designation following both his junior and senior seasons… Three-time All-Bay League performer including Most Outstanding Player as a junior… Included on the All-CIF Division I-AA Team after his sophomore season, his first as a varsity player… Averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 assists and two steals per game as a senior, he led his team to the second round on the CIF State Division I Championship and a No. 33 ranking in the state according to maxpreps.com… Guided the team into the CIF Southern Section tournament in each of his three varsity seasons.
