Attended San Leandro (Calif.) High School… A three-star recruit according to many the major recruiting services… ESPN rated him as a four-star prospect and one of the top-25 high school players in the state his senior year… As a senior led his team with 14.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.3 blocks, 1.9 steals and had nine double doubles… Named the West Alameda County Conference-Foothill League’s Most Valuable Player and a San Francisco Chronicle third-team All-Metro Boys performer in 2018-19… The team went 24-6 overall, won the West Alameda County Conference-Foothill League title with a 9-1 record and advanced to the CIF State Boys Basketball Division I playoffs… As a junior at Envision Academy, he averaged 24.0 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.2 blocked shots, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals per game, and led the team to the CIF State Boys Basketball Division V playoffs.
