Played in two of the Eagles' first three games in 2016-17, scoring four points on 2-of-2 shooting in nine combined minutes... Against Ferrum College (11-12-16), had two points in two minutes before matching his scoring production in seven minutes at Florida State (11-18-16)... Mononucleosis sidelined him for the rest of Winthrop's campaign, which resulted in a share of the Big South regular-season championship, the Big South tournament title and an appearance in the NCAA tournament... Helped Winthrop to a 26-7 (15-3 Big South) record.

Attended nearby La Costa Canyon High School before heading to Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vt.... Averaged 15.2 points on 56 percent shooting (.880 FT), 4.4 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 2.3 steals as a senior at Vermont Academy en route to his second all-league selection... Led Vermont Academy to the New England Championship in 2016... Was an all-NEPSAC selection... In his final season at LCC, helped the Mavericks win the 2014 CIF San Diego Section Open Division crown with a 12-point, 6-rebound performance.
