Played in three games before suffering a knee injury that sidelined him for the season... Saw action against Arizona State (11-19-07) and Oklahoma State (11-21-07) at the EA Sports Maui Invitational to help Illinois to a third-place finish... Also logged minutes in the two-point win at Maryland (11-28-07).
As A Freshman at Illinois (2006-07 Season)
Played in 26 games... Averaged 1.7 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.0 minutes... Illinois finished 23-12 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament... Led the team in rebounding in his first-ever game with his six against Austin Peay (11-13-06)... Played in the first 12 games and logged more than 10 minutes five times... Had one of his best games vs. Maryland (11-28-06) with his career-high eight points on a personal-best four free throws, while collecting four rebounds... After a DNP vs. Missouri (12-19-06), he played in 14 consecutive games before missing the final eight due to injury.
