Took advantage of the NCAA’s offer of an extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Honorable Mention All-Mountain West (media)… Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar... Mountain West Scholar-Athlete... Academic All-Mountain West... Appeared in 37 games, including a start vs. Wyoming (3/4)… Averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 16.1 minutes per game… Added 30 assists, 23 steals and 22 blocks in 596:18 of floor time… Shot 57.9 percent (73-of-126) from the field, 25.0 percent (1-of-4) from beyond the arc, and 66.7 percent (20-of-30) from the line… Set career-highs in nearly every statistical category… Scored a season-best 12 points at UNLV (12/31), his lone double digit scoring effort of the season… Totaled at least seven points in nine games and SDSU was 7-2 in those contests… Made multiple field goals in 23 contests (SDSU was 18-5 in those games), including four in which he knocked down at least four and a career-high six made buckets at UNLV… In 15 games he attempted at least four shots and when he did the Aztecs went 13-2… Season-high in field goal attempts, eight, came vs. Utah State (3/11) in the championship game of the Mountain West Tournament… Led the program in field goal percentage when no shots per game minimum is applied… Hit at least 60.0 percent of his shots in 20 contests and the Aztecs were 15-5 when he did… His lone 3-pointer came vs. Boise State (2/3) and on the year he attempted four in four games… Converted a career-high five free throws and attempted a season-high six shots from the charity stripe at Nevada (1/31)… Hit multiple free throws in five games (SDSU was 4-1 in those contests)… Recorded multiple steals in three games at Boise State (2/28), vs. College of Charleston (3/16) in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament and a season-best three at Stanford (11/15)… Ranked third on the squad in blocked shots… Rejected two shots in the Mountain West Tournament championship game vs. Utah State (3/11) and set a career-high with three rejections vs. Wyoming (3/4) in the team’s regular season finale… Had seven games with multiple assists (SDSU was 6-1 in those contests), including a career-high four vs. Saint Mary’s (12/10) at the Jerry Colangelo Classic in Phoenix, Ariz…. As a Sophomore (2019-20 Season)
Appeared in 22 games all of the bench… Averaged 3.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game… Added eight assists, eight steals and five blocks in 217 minutes… From the floor shot 50.0 percent (32-of-64) and 62.5 percent (5-of-8) from the free throw line… The only player on the squad to record more offensive rebounds (26) than defensive boards (24)… Set and then equaled career-high in rebounds (6) vs. Grand Canyon (11/13) & Nevada (1/18)… In 11-of-22 games he had either more offensive than defensive rebounds or the two stats were equal… Matched a career-high with four baskets at BYU (11/9) and established a career-best with nine shot attempts in the same game… Twice dished out a season-high two assists in back-to-back games; at San Diego (11/20) and vs. LIU (11/22)… Season-best two blocks came versus Utah State, in the Mountain West championship game (3/7)... As A Freshman (2018-19 Season)
Played in 31 games, all off the bench, averaging 3.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist in 14.6 minutes per game… Had 30 assists, 18 blocks and 17 steals in 453 minutes of playing time… Ranked second on the team in blocks, tied for fifth in assists, and third in offensive rebounds (34)… Reached double figure scoring twice during the year… Made his collegiate debut against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (11-6-18) and grabbed two rebounds in nine minutes… Scored a season-best 11 points and grabbed a five rebounds in 14 minutes against Brown (12-29-18)… Had four steals, a season-best, and three assists at Colorado State (2-12-19)… Equaled a season-high three assists at Utah State (2-26-19), and at UNLV (3-14-19) in the Mountain West Championship quarterfinals… Against New Mexico (1-15-19), had 10 points, on 4-of-4 shooting, and grabbed four rebounds (three of which were on the offensive glass)… Also grabbed three offensive boards against Brown and Air Force (1-30-19)… Scored seven points and had a season-high four offensive rebounds at Illinois State (12-1-18)… Logged 20+ minutes eight times, including a season-high 26 against No. 6/6 Nevada (2-20-19)… For the year, shot .446 (37-of-83) from the floor and .612 (19-of-31) from the free throw line.

High School
Attended Omaha South High in Omaha, Neb.... Named the 2016 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year after leading Packers to a Class A state title and 28-1 record... Averaged 15.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocked shots in 2015-16, while shooting 61.8 percent from the floor en route to being named an all-Metro Conference first-team selection and honorary captain by the Omaha World-Herald... In 2016-17, Arop led Nebraska's Class A in points (17.1) and rebounds (9.8), and once again led Omaha South to the state tournament where it advanced to the semifinals... Earned all-Metro first-team accolades for the second straight year... Was a two-time all-Nebraska selection... Spent 2017-18 at The Skill Factory, a prep school outside of Atlanta, Ga... Helped his team to a 44-6 record and averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists... Led the team in scoring and rebounding.

Personal
Earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies and is currently enrolled in a master's program in homeland security.
