High School

Attended Omaha South High in Omaha, Neb.... Named the 2016 Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year after leading Packers to a Class A state title and 28-1 record... Averaged 15.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 blocked shots in 2015-16, while shooting 61.8 percent from the floor en route to being named an all-Metro Conference first-team selection and honorary captain by the Omaha World-Herald... In 2016-17, Arop led Nebraska's Class A in points (17.1) and rebounds (9.8), and once again led Omaha South to the state tournament where it advanced to the semifinals... Earned all-Metro first-team accolades for the second straight year... Was a two-time all-Nebraska selection... Spent 2017-18 at The Skill Factory, a prep school outside of Atlanta, Ga... Helped his team to a 44-6 record and averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds and four assists... Led the team in scoring and rebounding.

Personal
Earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies and is currently enrolled in a master's program in homeland security.
