The school record for receptions is 197 and the all-time list includes the likes of Webster Slaughter, Will Blackwell, Az Hakim and Darnay Scott... Enters his final year as an Aztec with a string of 25 straight games with at least one reception... In league play, he led the Mountain West with 84.6 receiving yards per game and 6.29 catches?Has led the Mountain West in catches per conference game in each of the past two seasons... Finished 35th nationally in receptions per game and 39th in receiving yards per contest? Attended the NCAA Leadership Conference in May.

2001: Easily led San Diego State with 63 catches last season for 878 yards and two touchdowns... Next highest receiving total on the team was Derrick Lewis' 28 catches... He also more than doubled the next highest Aztec in receiving yards and his 878 were more than one-third of the team total... Had a monster day at Utah with 11 receptions for 140 yards... Grabbed eight passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns against Eastern Illinois... Was involved in plays covering at least 30 yards in seven games... Was third in the Mountain West in receptions per game (5.73) and receiving yards for all games (80)... His lone kick return for the season went for 33 yards at Arizona State... Went over 100 receiving yards in three games (Air Force, Eastern Illinois and Utah).

2000: Started all 11 games and finished as SDSU's leading receiver... Hauled in 62 passes for 808 yards, a 13.0 yards-per-catch average... Finished with no fewer than six receptions in 8-of-11 games... Ranked 40th nationally in receiving yards per game (73.5) and 31st in the nation in receptions (5.6)... In conference play, led the Mountain West in catches per game (6.8) and was third in receiving yards per game (91.1)... Twice topped the century mark in receiving yards with 146 yards versus Colorado State and 129 at Wyoming... Included in reception yardage against the Rams was a season-long 71-yarder... Hauled in a season-high eight receptions versus Utah... Lone touchdown on the year came on a 22-yard strike at Air Force.

1999: The Aztecs' starting wide receiver in the final two games of the season... Finished the year with nine receptions for 101 yards (11.2 avg.) and two scores... Best game came in season finale against Wyoming when he had four catches for 46 yards, including a 21-yard grab, and a touchdown... Other TD came at UNLV.

1998: Redshirted.

High School: Two-year starter and three-year letterman as a quarterback at Mira Mesa... Second-team all-CIF... Team's most valuable player and an all-academic selection as a senior... Also earned academic honors as a junior... Passed for 1,880 yards and 15 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,004 yards and five TDs as a senior... Held the fifth-best single-game mark in CIF history for total yards with 410 (278 pass, 132 rush)... An all-Western region selection by PrepStar... Also a two-year letterman on the basketball squad.

Personal: Gregory D. Tolver, Jr. was born Jan. 13, 1980, in Long Beach... Enjoys playing golf, computers and collecting sports cards...
