Henry Allison played two seasons at San Diego State from 1969-70, after transferring from College of Sequoias, where he also lettered twice. Allison anchored the SDSU offensive line that set the record for points in a season (44.7 per game) and ushered in the Division I era with a perfect 11-0 record in 1969. As a senior in 1970, he received first-team All-America honors from The Sporting News, Time Magazine and the Newspaper Enterprise Association. Allison was selected in the fifth round of the NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles and also played in both St. Louis and Denver. He currently resides in Inglewood, Calif., and was inducted into the California Community Colleges Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
