Taylor Long begins her second year as office coordinator for San Diego State football program.

In her present role, Long provides executive-level administrative and professional support for head coach Brady Hoke and his staff. She is also responsible for overseeing daily internal operations and serves as the team liaison for student-athletes, human resources, development, marketing and NFL personnel.

In addition, Long oversees the football student intern program and manages community engagements for coach Hoke and his players.

Prior to joining the Aztec staff, Long spent two years at the University of California, Berkeley, where she served as event operations and fan assistance coordinator at Memorial Stadium. Along with her endless administrative duties, Long created and executed a new fan assistance program for Golden Bear football games, managing all recruitment, hiring and training of employees.

During her time in the Bay Area, Long also had stints in facility operations with the Oakland Raiders and Golden State Warriors as a guest services representative.

Long received her bachelor’s degree in communication and sport management from the University of Arizona in 2017 before earning a master’s in sport management from the University of San Francisco in 2019.

As an undergraduate at Arizona, Long was the lead equipment manager for the Wildcat football program, training and overseeing a staff of 18 student managers. Additionally, she assisted the quarterback and tight end position coaches with the preparation and execution of practice drills.
