Played in the opener at No. 13/13 Stanford, making an assisted tackle off the bench in 18 snaps ... Also played in a reserve role against Sacramento State (16 snaps), but did not find the stat sheet ... Had a solo stop against No. 23/25 Arizona State (18 snaps), which went down as a 2-yard loss ... It was the first tackle for loss of his career ... Made an assisted tackle in 15 snaps in a reserve role against Eastern Michigan ... Three-year letter winner at Rio Rancho High School in Rio Rancho, N.M., in the Albuquerque area ... Led the Rams to a 13-0 record and state championship in 2016, and a 9-3 mark in 2017 ... Had 133 tackles over his three years according to MaxPreps, including 37 tackles for loss, 18 sacks, eight pass deflections, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and an interception ...
