SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023)
Played all 12 games with three starts ... Made 13 catches for 113 yards and a touchdown  ... Also had two rushes for seven yards ... Did not make a catch in two snaps off the bench vs. Ohio on Aug. 26 ... Made his first career start against Idaho State on Sept. 2, playing 29 offensive snaps without recording a stat ... Logged 40 snaps against UCLA on Sept. 9 ... Had one reception on five targets for a total of 18 yards ... Had three targets in 32 snaps in a start at No. 16/17 Oregon State on Sept. 16 ... Came off the bench in the conference opener against Boise State on Sept. 22 ... Caught his lone target for five yards ... Recorded his first touchdown reception of the season, second of his career, at Air Force on Sept. 30 ... The TD came on the Aztecs’ second drive of the game and was the first score of the night ... Caught four passes for 44 yards (11.0 avg.) with a touchdown and long of 18 yards ... Played in six games overall ... Was on the field for 69 snaps ... Played 12 statless snaps in the opener vs. Arizona on Sept. 3 ... Did not play vs. Idaho State on Sept. 10 ... Caught his first two passes for 23 yards (11.5 avg.), including an 18-yard touchdown in 26 snaps at No. 14/15 Utah on Sept. 17 ... Did not play vs. Toledo on Sept. 24 ... HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year varsity competitor at South Grand Prairie High School in Texas …Helped the Warriors advance to the second round of the 2020 Texas Conference 6A Division I playoffs in his final prep season … Received second-team all-District 7-6A recognition as a junior in 2019 after catching 30 passes for 403 yards and five touchdowns … Was clocked at 4.48 in the 40-yard dash, according to Rivals … Also competed on the South Grand Prairie High track and field team.
