Was named a preseason first-team all-Mountain West selection by the league media, Pro Football Focus, Phil Steele Magazine, Athlon Sports, Lindy’s Sports and Sports Info Solutions ... Started the first nine games this season at left guard and played all 589 snaps on offense, one of just two Aztecs to do so (Ross Ulugalu-Maseuli) ... Did not travel to Colorado State on Nov. 11 due to injury ... Returned to the starting line for the final two games, playing every offensive snap.

Was named a second-team all-Mountain West selection by the league’s coaches and media ... Also was a first-team pick by College Football Network and a second-team selection by Phil Steele Magazine ... Started the team’s first 12 games at left guard before missing the bowl game with an injury ... Played in 748 of the team’s first 755 offensive snaps before the injury ... Allowed only six quarterback pressures (no sacks) in 367 passing opportunities on the season ... According to Pro Football Focus, his 82.4 pass block rating was the second highest in the Mountain West among offensive linemen and first among MW guards (min. 300 pass opportunities) ... Earned his first career start against Arizona on Sept. 3, where he played all 59 snaps ... Started again vs. Idaho State (Sept. 10), at No. 14/15 Utah (Sept. 17), vs. Toledo (Sept. 24), at Boise State (Sept. 30), vs. Hawai’i (Oct. 8), at Nevada (Oct. 22), at Fresno State (Oct. 29), vs. UNLV (Nov. 5), vs. San José State (Nov. 12), at New Mexico (Nov. 18) and against Air Force (Nov. 26) ... Missed the EasyPost Hawai‘i Bowl game against Middle Tennessee on Dec. 24 after suffering an injury.

AT OKLAHOMA STATE (2020-21)
Comes to The Mesa following two seasons at Oklahoma State … Played in a pair of games last year as a redshirt freshman against Kansas (Oct. 30) and Notre Dame (Jan. 1) in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl … Redshirted his first season with the Cowboys in 2020.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played his high school ball at Notre Dame Prep, logging snaps on both sides of the ball… Helped the Saints to a 37-4 record in his three seasons … As a senior in 2019, he anchored an offensive line that helped Notre Dame Prep rush for 3,249 yards and 57 touchdowns, while passing for 1,763 yards and 17 touchdowns … Also logged 18 tackles on the defensive side of the ball with 12 solo stops … Made Arizona Republic’s all-Arizona team … Was a consensus three-star recruit out of high school by 247sports, Rivals and ESPN … Received a scout grade of 85 by 247sports and 75 by ESPN … 247Sports ranked him as the No. 25 offensive guard in the nation and the No. 13 player out of Arizona.
