Was recruited to SDSU as a tight end, but moved to offensive line in the fall of 2017 ... Saw more action as his career has worn, earning at least one start in each of the last three seasons.

SENIOR SEASON (2020)
Was named a first-team all-Mountain West selection by the league’s media and coaches ... Started the team’s eight games at left tackle ... Part of a team that was named to the Joe Moore Midseason Honor Roll for the best offensive line (one of only two Mountain West teams (also Air Force)) ... Played 556 of the team’s 560 offensive snaps (99.3 pct.) at left tackle ... Allowed just one sack in 220 passing plays (0.53 pct.) and only two pressures (1.06 pct.) ... Had only one penalty in 556 snaps (0.18 pct.) ... Made the start at left tackle against UNLV, where he was chosen as one of SDSU’s two offensive players of the week ... Started again at Utah State, being named to the Pro Football Focus National Team of the Week ... Also started against San José State, vs. Hawai’i, at Nevada, at Colorado, vs. Colorado State and at No. 14/16 Brigham Young.

JUNIOR SEASON (2019)
Was named to the Pro Football Focus Mountain West Team of the Year as an honorable-mention selection ... Started the team’s first seven games at left tackle and 11 on the season, while playing in all 13 games ... Made his first career start at left tackle in the opener with Weber State and his fourth start overall ... Started again at UCLA, at New Mexico State, against Utah State, at Colorado State and vs. Wyoming ... Also started at San José State, playing 24 snaps before being subbed out ... Played on special teams at UNLV ... Played four snaps in big packages and on the field goal/PAT unit against Nevada ... Started at left tackle each of the final four games against Fresno State, at Hawai’i, against Brigham Young and vs. Central Michigan in the New Mexico Bowl.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018)
Played in all 13 games, mainly on special teams ... Did start the final three games of the season at right tackle ... Played on special teams at No. 13/13 Stanford, and against Sacramento State, No. 23/25 Arizona State, Eastern Michigan, at rv/No. 24 Boise State, Air Force, San José State, at Nevada, at New Mexico and vs. UNLV ... Started for the first time of his career at Fresno State, playing all 49 snaps at right tackle where he posted the second-highest grade on the offensive line (according to Pro Football Focus) ... Started again against Hawai’i and vs. Ohio in the DXL Frisco Bowl.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
Played in three games during the season, totaling 44 snaps (according to Pro Football Focus) off the bench ... Did not play in the first eight games of the season ... Made his collegiate debut at Hawai'i, logging six snaps ... Followed with 36 snaps at San Jose State ... Did not play against Nevada ... Logged two snaps vs. New Mexico ... Did not play in the Armed Forces Bowl vs. Army West Point.  

REDSHIRT SEASON (2016)
Redshirted his first season as a tight end.  

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned two letters at McKinleyville High School in McKinleyville, Calif. ... Played quarterback for the Panthers, going 352-for-617 for 5,103 yards and 54 touchdowns against just 15 interceptions over his final two years (according to MaxPreps) ... Also added 960 yards on the ground on 255 carries and an additional 22 scores ... Punted for McKinleyville at times as well, averaging 36.8 yards per boot on 30 career punts ... Was an all-county selection and team MVP ... A two-star recruit by both Rivals and Scout ... Also a three-year letter winner on the baseball team and a one-time basketball letter winner ... A scholar-athlete.
