Pronounced BESS-ent ... Big, tall body who continues to work on his drive and technique ... Enters the 2021 campaign as the backup left tackle to preseason all-Mountain West selection Zachary Thomas.

JUNIOR SEASON (2020)
Played in a three games off the bench, mainly on the PAT/field goal unit ... Played late in the opener off the bench against UNLV ... Was not on the travel squad each of the next five games ... Played the final two games of the season - Dec. 5 vs. Colorado State and Dec. 12 at No. 14/16 Brigham Young - on all PATs and field goals.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)
Was on the travel squad for each of the final 12 games, but played in only one game on the season ... Did not play in each of the first 12 games of the year ... Logged snaps late on the offensive line against Central Michigan in the New Mexico Bowl. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)
Logged snaps in his first career two games on special teams ... The two appearances came in the last two games of the regular season at Fresno State and vs. Hawai’i ... Was on the travel squad for the final 12 games of the year.
