At San Diego State
- Jackson Eskierka is in his seventh season at San Diego State and his third year as a graduate assistant with the football program.
- From the 2013 through the 2016 seasons, Eskierka was an athletic equipment manager and coaches’ assistant for the football team.
- As an athletic equipment manager, he directed a team of 10 student equipment managers. He also assisted with in-game equipment-related issues, preparation and execution of practices, equipment issue, maintenance and laundry.
- As a coaches assistant, he also charted plays for the offensive coaching staff during games.
Education
- Graduated from San Diego State in December 2016 with his bachelor’s degree in sociology, appearing on the Dean’s List three times.
- Is currently pursuing his master’s degree in liberal arts and interdisciplinary studies.
