Pronounced Alvz ... Relentless worker who came to SDSU as a linebacker, but moved to fullback during the 2019 fall camp ... Eventually moved back to linebacker midway through the 2020 season ... Is one of SDSU’s best players on special teams.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020)
Played in all eight games on special teams, making three tackles (two solo) and adding a fumble recovery ... Recorded his first career tackle in the opener against UNLV on Oct. 24 ... Logged statless special teams at Utah State on Oct. 31 ... Made an assisted stop at San Jose State on Nov. 6 ... Came up with his first career fumble recovery vs. Hawai’i on Nov. 14 ... The recovery, which was forced by Kyron White, came in the second quarter on a Tanner Kuljian punt and led to a Greg Bell rushing touchdown to put the Aztecs up, 21-0 ... Did not record a stat in specials teams play at Nevada on Nov. 21 ... Added another solo tackle at Colorado on Nov. 28 ... Played the final games without finding the stat sheet.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
Played in the final nine games on special teams without recording a stat ... Did not play the first four games of the season ... Made his collegiate debut on special teams at Colorado State on Oct. 5 ... Then played in each of the next eight games, including the New Mexico Bowl vs. Central Michigan.

REDSHIRT SEASON (2018)
Redshirted the season, where he was named the team’s special teams scout player of the year.

HIGH SCHOOL
Local product out of St. Augustine High School in San Diego ... Earned four letters with the Saints, helping them to a 35-15 (.700) record since 2014 ... According to MaxPreps, totaled 265 tackles (179 solo), including 28 tackles for loss, 24.5 sacks, nine pass deflections, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries ... Is coming off a 2017 season with 100 tackles (69 solo), 12 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries ... Also had two career touchdown catches as a fullback ...
