At San Diego State
- Two-time San Diego State graduate Orin Catrett is in his 12th year at SDSU and is in his fifth season working with the Aztec football team.
- In addition to his duties with SDSU football, he is the head strength and conditioning coach for softball and women’s tennis, as well as the club rugby team.
- After earning his bachelor’s degree from SDSU, he served as a graduate assistant with the Aztecs’ strength and conditioning department from January 2009 to January 2011.
- Upon earning his M.A. in kinesiology, he served as a strength and conditioning assistant at San Diego State, working primarily with men’s and women’s tennis, rowing, club rugby, baseball and softball.
Playing Experience
- Played football at Arkansas State for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
- Prepped at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., where he earned all-conference honors as a senior.
Education
- Earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from San Diego State in 2009 and his master’s degree in the same subject from SDSU in 2013.
- CSCS and USAW certified.
