Speedy, evasive running back ... Will be expected to log big carries this year as the only senior running back with carries as an Aztec ... Enters the season second at the “T” running back behind Jordan Byrd ... Also sees time on the special teams units.

JUNIOR SEASON (2019)
Played in all 13 games on the season, starting twice ... Rushed 79 times for 366 yards (4.6 avg.) with four touchdowns and a long run of 50 yards, while adding 14 receptions for 105 yards (7.5 avg.) ... Also returned two kickoffs for 30 yards (15.0 avg.) ... Led the team in overall touchdowns (5), rushing touchdowns (4) and rush average (4.6) ... Played one snap in the opener with Weber State and a little bit on the kick return unit, but did not record a stat while still recovering from a fall camp injury ... Made the most of his eight snaps off the bench at UCLA, running three times for three yards (1.0 avg.) with a 2-yard touchdown, while adding a 11-yard catch ... The touchdown was SDSU’s first of the season and first in a three-game period (dating back to the 2018 regular-season finale vs. Hawai’i on Nov. 24) ... Carried the ball five times for 29 yards (5.8 avg.) with a long of 29 yards at New Mexico State before exiting with an injury after eight snaps ... Had 33 rushing yards on nine carries (3.7 avg.) with a long of 14 yards in 19 snaps vs. Utah State ... Also caught two passes for 15 yards (7.5 avg.) with a long of 11 yards and added a 20-yard kick return ... Carried two times for 11 yards (5.5 avg.) with a long of 10 yards at Colorado State in seven snaps ... Played nine snaps vs. Wyoming, carrying the ball once for a 2-yard loss ... Ran for a season-high 70 yards on just six carries (11.7 avg.) in only 14 snaps at San José State, while adding a 50-yard touchdown ... The touchdown put the Aztecs up, 27-10, in a 27-17 win ... The 50-yard touchdown run was his longest rush of his career and the longest play from scrimmage by SDSU this season ... Also excelled on special teams, where he was the first player down on four of Brandon Heicklen’s punts and contributed to the ball landing three punts inside the 3-yard line ... Ran for 25 yards on five carries (5.0 avg.) in just 14 snaps at UNLV, while adding a 10-yard kick return ... Carried nine times for 34 yards (3.8 avg.) and had an 8-yard catch in 31 snaps vs. Nevada ... Had a good game in a start against Fresno State, rushing 15 times for 31 yards (2.1 avg.) with a 2-yard touchdown, while adding a career-high six receptions for a career-best 40 yards ... Had multiple touchdowns in a game for the first time of his career, scoring both of SDSU’s touchdowns ... Ran for 37 yards on seven carries (5.3 avg.) in 28 snaps off the bench at Hawai’i, while making two catches for 25 yards (12.5 avg.) ... Ran seven times for 44 yards (6.3 avg.) against Brigham Young with a long of 17 yards, while adding a 4-yard catch in 23 snaps ... Earned the start against Central Michigan in the New Mexico Bowl, rushing 10 times for 51 yards (5.1 avg.) and a touchdown in just 24 snaps ... It was his fourth rushing touchdown of the season and 11th of his career ... It was also his fifth overall touchdown of the year and 13th of his career ... Also had a 2-yard catch.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2018)
Played in all 13 games at running back with three starts ... Rushed 138 times for 592 yards (4.3 avg.) and five touchdowns with a long of 40 yards ... Also had seven catches for 52 yards (7.4 avg.) and a touchdown, and a 6-yard kick return ... Ranked 10th in the Mountain West in rushing yards per carry (4.29) ... Played in the opener at No. 13/13 Stanford, rushing six times for 25 yards (4.2 avg.) ... Carried twice for two yards (1.0 avg.) vs. Sacramento State ... Had a huge game against No. 23/25 Arizona State, rushing for a career-high 112 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries ... Became the 77th different 100-yard rusher in program history ... Coupled with Juwan Washington, became the 20th different combination in program history to record a 100-yard rushing game in the same game (29th occasion overall) ... Rushed 16 times for 94 yards (5.9 avg.) off the bench against Eastern Michigan, including a career-long run of 40 yards ... Led the team in rushing for the first time of his career ... Also added a 6-yard kick return ... Started for the first time of his career at rv/No. 24 Boise State, rushing a career-high 26 times for 78 yards (3.0 avg.) with a touchdown, while also grabbing his first two career catches for four yards (2.0 avg.) ... Rushed for 70 yards on 18 carries (3.9 avg.) with a touchdown and a long of 20 yards against Air Force ... Led the team in rushing for the third straight game ... Rushed 19 times for 79 yards (4.2 avg.) with a touchdown off the bench against San José State ... Also added two catches for a career-high 34 yards (17.0 avg.) with a career-long 23-yard grab ... Finished with a career-high 113 all-purpose yards ... Had another big game in a starting role at Nevada, rushing 16 times for 85 yards (5.3 avg.), while adding a career-high three catches for 14 yards and his first career receiving touchdowns ... Rushed 12 times for 40 yards and a touchdown off the bench at New Mexico ... Recorded his fifth rushing touchdown of the season and seventh of his career ... The touchdown was also his sixth overall of the season and eighth of his career ... It marked his fifth straight game with a touchdown (rushing or receiving) ... Played nine statless snaps off the bench against UNLV ... Had two carries for five yards (2.5 avg.) in 17 snaps at Fresno State ... Carried two times for two yards (1.0 avg.) vs. Hawai’i ... Played three statless snaps vs. Ohio in the DXL Frisco Bowl.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2017)
Played in the team's 13 games, rushing 33 times for 137 yards (4.2 avg.) with two touchdowns ... Also had four tackles (two solo) on special teams ... Played in his first career game against UC Davis in the opener, carrying the ball four times for two yards (0.5 avg.) with a long of two ... Also saw time on multiple special teams units ... Logged statless time on special teams at Arizona State and again vs. No. 19/19 Stanford ... Recorded his first career tackle (an assisted one) at Air Force on special teams ... Logged snaps on special teams vs. Northern Illinois ... Had a good game at UNLV, carrying five times for 29 yards (5.8 avg.) with an 8-yard touchdown ... The touchdown was the first of his career ... Also added an assisted stop on special teams ... Made an assisted tackle against Boise State in special teams ... Carried the ball one time late against Fresno State, but it went down as a 1-yard loss ... Rushed six times for 17 yards (2.8 avg.) at Hawai'i late in the game with a long of six yards ... Rushed a career-high 14 times for a career-best 82 yards and a touchdown in his most playing time of his career at San Jose State ... Scored his second rushing touchdown of the season (and his career) on a 9-yard carry in the third quarter ... Had three rushes for eight yards (2.7 avg.) with a long of seven yards ... Did not record a stat in special teams time vs. New Mexico ... Made a special teams solo tackle against Army West Point in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Earned three letters at Westlake High School in Westlake Village, Calif. ... Rushed for 2,808 yards and 24 touchdowns over his three-year career on 378 attempts (7.4 avg.), breaking 100 yards on 12 occasions (according to MaxPreps) ... Added 30 career receptions for 315 yards (10.5 avg.) and another score ... Ran for 979 yards and 11 touchdowns on 149 carries (6.6 avg.) as a senior with five 100-yard rushing games ... Also caught 14 passes for 198 yards (14.1 avg.) ... Rushed for 1,413 yards and 13 touchdowns on 157 attempts (9.0 avg.) as a junior with seven 100-yard rushing games ... Chase Donovan Jasmin was born Sept. 10, 1998, in Agoura Hills, Calif. ... Son of Robert and Deborah Jasmin ...
