At San Diego State:

  • Jake Laudenslayer is in his fourth year at San Diego State and his first year as the assistant for football recruiting.
  • As an offensive graduate assistant working with the Aztec tight ends, he guided Daniel?Brunskill to Pro Football Focus Honorable Mention?All-American status in 2015 and All-Mountain?West accolades in 2015 and 2016. Brunskill signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in?April 2017.

Previous Experience:

  • Served as wide receivers coach during the 2012 campaign at his alma mater, Cal Lutheran. Helped Eric Rogers earn Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive- Player-of-the-Year honors.

Playing Experience:

  • Starred at quarterback for two seasons at Cal Lutheran, leading the Kingsmen to consecutive SCIAC championships.
  • Was named the league's offensive player of the year in 2011 after directing CLU to its second straight NCAA Division III playoff appearance.
  • Threw for a combined 4,256 yards and 37 touchdowns during his stint on the Thousand Oaks campus, completing 297 passes on 471 attempts. Also rushed for 620 yards with seven TDs.
  • Signed with Marshall in 2009, but did not see action.
  • Played two seasons at Mendocino College in Ukiah, Calif., following his prep career. Garnered first-team all-state accolades and collected Bay Valley Conference Most Valuable Player honors after leading the Eagles to the league championship in 2007. Also earned first-team all-BVC honors as a sophomore in 2008.
  • Attended Grace Davis High School in Modesto, Calif., where he was an all-Metro League selection in football.

Education:

  • Graduated from Cal Lutheran in the fall of 2011 with his bachelor's degree in marketing communications.
  • Currently pursuing his master's degree in liberal arts and studies.
