Pronounced less-ARD ... Was recruited as a linebacker, but moved to fullback for the 2015 fall camp ... Gained experience working behind 2018 NFL Draft seventh-round selection Nick Bawden ... Battled a midseason injury, but was the main starter at fullback in 2018 ... Suffered a massive knee injury in the first scrimmage of the 2019 spring campaign and was expected to miss most of the 2019 season ... Returned to action, however, roughly six months later at Colorado State on Oct. 5.

SENIOR SEASON (2019)
Was chosen as SDSU’s most inspirational player, along with Kyahva Tezino ... Played in nine games this season, starting three times ... Had an 18-yard catch ... Missed the first four games - Weber State, UCLA, New Mexico State and Utah State - with a knee injury suffered in the spring ... Returned to play at Colorado State, playing 23 snaps without recording a stat ... Played 21 snaps vs. Wyoming with the biggest coming in the fourth quarter when he caught a career-long 18-yard pass from Ryan Agnew ... The catch was the first play of the game-winning drive in a 26-22 Aztec victory ... Started for the first time of the season at San José State, playing 34 snaps without recording a stat ... Made an 11-yard catch in a start against No. 23/25 Arizona State ... The catch was the second of his career and longest of his career ... Started vs. Eastern Michigan, but only played 37 snaps before going down with a neck injury ... Missed the game at rv/No. 24 Boise State, vs. Air Force, against San José State and at Nevada with the same injury ... Came back to play 15 snaps off the bench at New Mexico, his first game since Sept. 22 at Eastern Michigan ... Earned the start vs. UNLV, his first since the fourth game of the season vs. Eastern Michigan, and played 41 snaps ... Started again at Fresno State, playing 25 snaps ... Had his first career touchdown catch on a 13-yard pass from Ryan Agnew off the bench vs. Hawai’i ... The catch came on a fourth-and-1 situation and, with the John Baron PAT, tied the game at 24 with 6:07 left in regulation ... The 13-yard reception was also a career long ... Started the DXL Frisco Bowl game vs. Ohio without recording a stat.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017)
Played in seven games with one start, making a 7-yard catch ... Logged snaps off the bench against UC Davis without finding the stat sheet ... Did not play at Arizona State, against No. 19/19 Stanford, at Air Force or vs. Northern Illinois ... Earned his first career start at UNLV and played 34 snaps ... Did not play against Boise State ... Played on the team's final drive against Fresno State (eight snaps) ... Played 11 snaps at Hawai'i, but did not record a stat ... Logged 16 snaps at San Jose State off the bench without finding the stat sheet ... Also played 10 snaps vs. Nevada, making his first career catch for seven yards ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2016)
Played in eight games on the season without recording a stat ... According to Pro Football Focus, logged 49 snaps for the year ... Played 13 snaps in the opener against New Hampshire and one the following game vs. California ... Played three snaps vs. UNLV ... After not playing against Fresno State, logged snaps in four straight weeks, including nine against San Jose State, seven at Utah State, seven vs. Hawai'i and three at Nevada ... Also saw action at Colorado State with six snaps.  

REDSHIRT SEASON (2015)

HIGH SCHOOL
Led Jesuit High School in Sacramento, Calif., with 58 total tackles and four tackles for loss, along with two sacks, two interceptions and a fumble recovery as a senior according to MaxPreps ... Named first-team all-Delta League, first-team all-metro, team captain and team's defensive MVP as a senior ... Led the Marauders to a 9-3 overall record in 2014 and an appearance in the second round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs ... Played quarterback his junior season at Yuba City High, completing 89 of 173 pass attempts (51 percent) for 1,711 yards and 16 touchdowns, while rushing for 307 yards and eight scores ... A first-team all-Tri County Conference and all-area selection, and a team captain as a junior ... Helped lead the Honkers to an appearance in the third round of the CIF Sac-Joaquin playoffs in 2013 ... Also played rugby in high school.

Isaac Pryde Lessard was born April 17, 1997, in Sacramento, Calif. ... Son of Norm and Noel Lessard ... Father, Norm, played college football at Fresno State ... Chose San Diego State over Sacramento State ... Is working on a master’s degree in criminal justice.
