  • Made the switch from tight end, where he was an honorable-mention all-MW pick in 2015, to offensive line for his final season with depth issues on the line ... Came to SDSU as an offensive lineman as a walk-on in 2012 ... Earned a scholarship after the spring semester of 2015 ... Also was chosen as a Burlsworth Nominee, which goes out to the best college walk-on (current or former) ... Was named a second-team all-Mountain West performer ... Was named the team's offensive lineman of the year and was one of two to win the team's President's Award (highest standard of athletic and academic excellence) ... Also was listed as the "28th-Best Draft-Eligible Tight End" by Phil Steele's 2016 College Football Preview ... Started the opener for the first time of his career at right tackle ... Also started vs. California, at Northern Illinois, at South Alabama, against UNLV, at Fresno State, against San Jose State, at Utah State, vs. Hawai'i, at Nevada, at Wyoming, vs. Colorado State, at Wyoming in the MW Championship game and against Houston in the Las Vegas Bowl ...     JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
    Was named a Pro Football Focus honorable-mention All-American ... Also chosen as an honorable-mention all-Mountain West selection by the league's media and head coaches ... Started all 14 games at tight end, recording 10 catches for 112 yards (11.2 avg.) and two touchdowns ... The two receiving touchdowns tied for third on the team ...
