    SENIOR SEASON (2017)
    Was awarded the team's Dr. R. Hardy/C.E. Peterson Memorial Trophy (captain's award) ... Was chosen as a captain by his teammates ... Has 70 tackles (41 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and three pass breakups on the season ... Started for the 26th time of his career in the opener against UC Davis, making a team-high-tying four tackles (two solo) ... Made the start at one of the Warrior spots in the opener vs. New Hampshire, but did not find the stat sheet ... Started again vs. California, making four tackles (two solo) ... Made two tackles and chipped in with a 10-yard interception in a third straight start at Northern Illinois ... Registered three tackles (one solo) and a pass breakup at South Alabama in a fourth consecutive start ... Had an assisted tackle against UNLV in a starting role ... Came up with three stops (two solo) in a start at Fresno State ... Had a good game against San Jose State in another start, making a solo tackle - a 3-yard stop behind the line of scrimmage - and a pass breakup ... Was slated as one of the two starting Warriors in Rocky Long's 3-3-5 defense once again after a solid 2014 season, but hurt his knee in the opener and missed the next six games ... Came back to play against Utah State and started vs. Nevada at the Aztec spot with Na'im McGee sitting out the first week with a target penalty the week before ... Finished with nine tackles (six solo), including a tackle for loss, and a fumble recovery in two starts and five games ... Started the opener with San Diego, recording three tackles (two solo), including one behind the line of scrimmage, before leaving early with a knee injury ... Missed the next six games with the same knee injury ... Returned to play limited snaps against Utah State without recording a stat ... Had one assisted tackle and a fumble recovery in a reserve role at Colorado State ... The fumble recovery came in the end zone as the Rams were driving to try and tie the game up at 7-7 on their opening possession ... Did not play against Wyoming ...     FRESHMAN SEASON (2014)
    Received the Outstanding Freshman Award at the team banquet ... Played in his first 12 career games, starting the first 10 and again vs. San Jose State in the regular season finale ... Ranked in a tie for third on the team with 63 tackles and led the team with two fumble recoveries for 15 yards ... The 63 tackles were the most by an Aztec freshman since Andrew Preston had 72 in 2007 ... Also had three tackles for loss, a sack and three PBU's ... Made his first career start in his first career appearance in the opener vs. Northern Arizona ... Came up with six tackles, including four solo stops ... The six tackles were tied for second on the team ... Had a game-high 10 tackles (seven solo) at North Carolina ... The seven solo stops also were a game high ...     Gained valuable practice experience in his redshirt season, working behind five senior safeties, including 2014 NFL Draft picks Nat Berhe and Eric Pinkins.
