2013: Played in 12 games in his first year of Division I football, starting the final 11, and throwing for 3,007 yards and 19 touchdowns ... Became the ninth Aztec in program history (13th time overall) to pass for 3,000 yards in a season ... Was 232-for-389 (59.6 percent) with a 136.06 passing efficiency ... Also added a rushing touchdown ... Ranked 29th in the country in passing yards per game (250.6), despite not playing in the opener and coming off the bench at No. 3/2 Ohio State ... Also ranked 32nd in completions per game (19.33), 36th in passing yards per completion (12.96) and 46th in total offense per game (241.5) ... Threw for 265 yards with a touchdown in SDSU[apos]s win at Hawai[apos]i ... vs. Boise State (Nov. 23) ... Was 23-for-37 for 288 yards and two touchdowns (and one interception) against Boise State ... The biggest pass came on the final play of the game, when he found Colin Lockett near the right pylon from 10 yards for the game winner in overtime ... At Diablo Valley College: Played two years at Diablo Valley College from 2011-12, captaining his 2012 squad ... In 2012 was 309-for-511 (60.5 percent) for 4,044 yards and 38 touchdowns against 12 interceptions en route to being named the Mid-Eastern Conference MVP.
