A big body who worked up to a starting role at center after 2015 spring and fall drills ... Moved to center in the spring of 2015 after practicing as a guard his first three seasons at San Diego State.

Was on the Rimington Trophy Watch List, which goes out to the most outstanding center in the country ... Was one of two Aztecs (also Daniel Brunskill) to be earn the team's President's Award (highest standard of athletic and academic excellence) ... Also was a preseason first-team all-Mountain West selection by Lindy's Sports and a fourth-team pick by Athlon Sports ... Has started all 14 games at center ... Started the opener vs. New Hampshire at center for the 15th straight game ... Also started against California, at Northern Illinois, at South Alabama, vs. UNLV, at Fresno State, against San Jose State, at Utah State, vs. Hawai'i, at Nevada, at Wyoming, vs. Colorado State, at Wyoming in the MW Championship and against Houston in the Las Vegas Bowl.
