Started the final five games of his sophomore season in 2012 after coming off the bench to lead San Diego State to a dramatic come-from-behind victory at Nevada ... 2012: Initially the No. 2 quarterback, Dingwell entered the Nevada game on Oct. 20, following a season-ending injury to Ryan Katz and started the final five games of the season ... Led San Diego State to a come-from-behind victory at Nevada in addition to posting a 5-1 record as a starter ... Was the only quarterback utilized in the final 403 offensive snaps of the season ... In his eight games in which he attempted a pass (six of which he had at least 18 attempts), he threw more than one interception on just one occasion ... Completed 57.6 percent of his passes for the season, including three consecutive games with a completion percentage of 60.0 percent or better ... Became the fifth SDSU quarterback in the last 17 seasons to produce at least four games with 60 percent completions and 18 pass attempts in a single season (Billy Blanton, Adam Hall, Ryan Katz and Kevin O[apos]Connell) ... Quarterbacked the final drive in SDSU[apos]s 35-7 win over New Mexico.

2010: Utilized his redshirt campaign ... SDSU[apos]s offensive scout player of the year.

High School: As a senior, completed 123-of-201 passes (61.2 percent) for 1,665 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions at Rockwall High ... In his junior campaign, was 135-for-217 (62.2 percent) for 1,833 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions ... Produced one of the nation[apos]s top games when he went 23-of-37 for 325 yards against Pearce High ... Earned his team[apos]s most outstanding contribution award and was also named the most conscientious player as a senior (voted on by coaches and players) ... Took part in SDSU[apos]s football camp prior to his senior season ... Nominated for ESPN/FCA Athlete of the Month honor ... Played tight end as a sophomore ... A two-star recruit by Rivals.com ...
