A versatile player who switched positions in four of his five seasons at San Diego State ... Started as a tight end in 2011 where he redshirted behind 2013 NFL second-round draft pick Gavin Escobar ... Switched to the defensive side of the ball prior to the 2012 campaign and saw action on the defensive line in eight games ... Moved back over to the offensive side of the ball and the tight end position for his sophomore campaign and junior season, before moving to the offensive line (right guard) in the spring for his senior year.
