Originally signed with the 2013 class as an offensive lineman, but didn't join SDSU until the spring of 2014 on the defensive line ... Worked up from No. 4 on the depth chart at defensive tackle heading into the fall to the backup to Christian Heyward for the Poinsettia Bowl vs. Navy, but moved back to offensive line during the spring of 2015 ... Moved back to the defensive side of the ball for the final two games of 2015 due to an injury to Heyward, where he remained the rest of his career.

SENIOR SEASON (2017)
Was named a preseason second-team all-Mountain West selection by Phil Steele Magazine and a fourth-team all-Mountain West selection by Athlon Sports ... Started the team's 13 games, making 40 tackles (18 solo) with a 2-yard tackle for loss and three quarterback hurries ... Started for the first time of his career in the opener against UC Davis and finished with a pair of assisted stops ... Made three tackles (two solo) with a 2-yard and a quarterback hurry in a start at Arizona State ... Recorded a solo stop in a start with a QBH vs. No. 19/19 Stanford ...
