JUNIOR SEASON (2025)
Had a breakout season, his first as the starting running back … Was named a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award for the most outstanding running back in the country … Was the first Aztec semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award since Rashaad Penny in 2017, while former Aztecs Donnel Pumphrey (2016), George Jones (1995) and Marshall Faulk (1993) were each been finalists for the award … Also was a first-team all-Mountain West selection … This after being named a preseason fourth-team all-Mountain West selection by both Phil Steele Magazine and Athlon Sports … Rushed for 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns on 254 carries (5.1 avg.) … Became the 20th different Aztec with a 1,000-yard rushing season in program history (28th time overall) … His 1,297 yards were the 13th most in SDSU single-season history and most since Penny had a school-record 2,248 yards in 2017 … The 1,297 yards were the fourth most by an Aztec junior … Had six 100-yard games (out of 13 played) … Led the Mountain West in rushing attempts (254, 5th in FBS), rushing attempts per game (19.54, 9th in FBS), rushing yards (1,297, 13th in FBS), total all-purpose plays (259, 13th in FBS) and rushing yards per game (99.77, 14th in FBS), second in total all-purpose yards (1,300, T-37th in FBS), tied for third in rushing touchdowns (10, T-46th in FBS), fifth in rushing yards per carry (5.11, 67th in FBS) and tied for seventh in total touchdowns (10, T-73rd in FBS) … Rushed for his first career 100-yard game in the opener against Stony Brook on Aug. 28, with 100 yards on 23 carries (4.3 avg.) … Became the 85th different Aztec with a 100-yard rushing game and it was the 18th 100-yard game in an Aztec season opener … He had five carries for 35 yards in 2024 and entered the game with 200 career yards on 37 carries … Scored his first two touchdowns since scoring his only two against Hawai’i on Oct. 14, 2023 … Notched another 100-yard game against Colorado State on Oct. 3, rushing for a then career-high 113 yards and two touchdowns on 21 attempts … Recorded his third 100-yard rushing game of the season (and career) with a then career-high 131 yards on 21 carries (6.2 avg.) with a touchdown at Fresno State on Oct. 25 … Notched his second straight 100-yard rushing game for the first time of his career with a career-high 158 yards on 28 attempts (5.6 avg.) with a touchdown vs. Wyoming on Nov. 1 … Included in the 158 yards was a career-long 50-yard run to score and seal the Aztec 24-7 win in his final attempt in the fourth quarter … Ran for 150 yards and 25 attempts (6.0 avg.) vs. Boise State on Nov. 15, his second 150-yard effort of the year … Became the first player to run for at least 150 yards against Boise State since Wyoming’s Titus Swen had 212 on Nov. 19, 2022. He’s just the fifth player to run for at least 150 vs. Boise State in the last 10 years and the most ever by an Aztec vs. the Broncos … Logged his sixth 100-yard game of the season at New Mexico on Nov. 28, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries (5.0 avg.).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Appeared in four games ... Was on the travel squad for every game ... Totaled five carries for 35 yards (7.0 avg.) with a long rush of 17 ... Had one rush in the season opener against Texas A&M-Commerce for three yards ... Had a season high three carries for 15 yards at California on Sept. 14 ... Had one carry for a season long 17 yards on the final drive at Utah State on Nov. 23 ... Logged two statless snaps in the season finale vs. Air Force.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Played five games this season, all coming during conference play ... Recorded his first career touchdown on his third career rushing attempt ... Had 157 rushing yards on 30 carries and two touchdowns for a team-high 5.2 average ... Made his first touches of the season at Hawai’i on Oct. 14, carrying seven times for 23 yards and two touchdowns ... Scored the first touchdown, a 1-yard rush, on his first carry of the season, and third of his career ... Scored his second touchdown, a 2-yard rush, on his ninth career carry ... It is the third multi-rushing TD by an Aztec this season ... Recorded a then career-long nine yard run on the final drive of the game ... Named the team’s Scout Player of the Week ... Was the lead Aztec back against Nevada on Oct. 21 ... Led the SDSU running backs with a career-high 12 carries ... Totaled a then career-high 48 yards, including a then career-long 13-yard run ... Had a breakout game against Utah State on Nov. 4 ... Recorded a career-high 86 yards, the most in a single-game by an Aztec running back this year, on a team-leading 11 carries ... The 7.8 yards per carry is a career-high ... Posted the longest rush of the season for SDSU with a 62-yard run at the end of the first quarter ... It is also the longest run by an Aztec since Greg Bell had a 62-yard rush vs. Hawai’i on Nov. 14, 2020 ... Did not play in final three games due to injury.
REDSHIRT SEASON (2022)
Only played one game, utilizing his redshirt season as a true freshman ... Made his collegiate debut at New Mexico on Nov. 18 ... Had two carries for eight yards with two four-yard runs.
HIGH SCHOOL
Starred at nearby Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego … Led the Dons to a 12-2 record this past season and a state championship … Cathedral Catholic finished fifth in the state in the final MaxPreps rankings … Captured numerous awards including the KUSI Silver Pigskin, the Honor Bowl MVP and Holy Bowl MVP … Also garnered first-team MaxPreps for the spring 2021 … Ran for 3,581 yards and 44 touchdowns over his career, averaging 10.5 yards per attempt … Ran for an amazing 2,628 yards as a senior this past season and 36 touchdowns on 232 carries, averaging 11.3 yards per attempt and 202.2 yards per game … Broke 100 yards rushing in 12 of the team’s 13 games, including 442 yards and six touchdowns on 27 rushes (16.4 avg.) in a 71-62 shootout win over Orange Lutheran in the state semifinal game on Dec. 3 … Ran for 241 yards and a touchdown in the state championship 33-21 win over Folsom on Dec. 10 … Had at least 200 yards in four games overall … Had 10 games with multiple touchdowns, including five games with at least three scores, two with four and the six-touchdown game … Also caught 13 passes for 153 yards and an additional five touchdowns … Also competed on the track and field team … Is a member of the Black Student Union Club … Is a three-star recruit by 247sports with a scout grade of 88 … Ranked by 247sports as the 51st-best recruit in the state of California and the 48th overall running back in the country.
