Comes to The Mesa after three seasons at Central Michigan (2021-23) … Helped the Chippewas to a Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl victory over Washington State in 2021 finishing the year as the co-MAC West champions with a 9-4 record … Individually, earned all-MAC honors twice in his career as a third-team selection in both 2022 and 2023 … For his career, has 34 games played totaling 207 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, seven pass breakups, one fumble forced and one fumble recovery … Finished second on the team in 2023 with 65 tackles (320 solo), along with 5.0 tackles for loss for 11 yards, 2.0 sacks, four pass breakups and a quarterback hurry … Had three games with 10-plus tackles despite missing three contests with an injury … Recorded a career-high 14 tackles at Michigan State as well as a 2.0 sack, 10-tackle performance against Eastern Michigan that earned him MAC Defensive Player of the Week … In 2022, he started all 12 games and led the team in total tackles (94), solo tackles (60) … Also had 7.5 tackles for loss for 39 yards, 3.0 sacks for 30 yards, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery … Led the Chippewas in tackles in eight games including a 13-tackle effort vs. Buffalo and an 11-tackle game vs. South Alabama … As a true freshman in 2021, played all 13 games including a start in the Sun Bowl … Ranked seventh on the team with 47 tackles.
