Attended Colorado during the 2022-23 year…appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman…finished the season with 11 total tackles, including eight solos…had two stops against Arizona, Oregon State and Washington for his season high.

A 2022 graduate of Liberty HS in Bakersfield, Calif…was a three-star prospect by the recruiting services…the 247 Composite ranked him as the No. 85 cornerback in the nation, No. 70 player from California, and No. 932 player nationally…247 Sports ranked him as the No. 103 cornerback in the class and No. 100 player from California…Rivals listed him as the No. 67 player in California…ESPN ranked him the No. 81 athlete in the class, No. 56 player from California and No. 115 player in the west…On3 sports ranked him as the No. 121 cornerback in the class and No. 81 player from California…Played three years of varsity at Liberty for coach Bryan Nixon…played receiver and in the defensive backfield, he was named all-league, the Area Player of the Year and was named a hometown all-star…caught 40 catches for 927 yards and 10 touchdowns offensively and had 40 tackles on defense with a sack, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery on defense…returned seven kicks for 141 yards and 18 punts for 283 yards and a touchdown on special teams…scored three touchdowns in a 35-7 win over Pittsburg HS…in a COVID-shortened junior season, Liberty was 5-0 and he played in two games, catching six passes for 125 yards and a touchdown and added three tackles on defense and had one kick return for 18 yards on special team…as a sophomore, Liberty was 10-2 and he played receiver and cornerback…caught 16 passes for 336 yards and two touchdowns and added 25 tackles, 13 pass breakups and three interceptions on defense and returned six kicks for 144 yards on special teams…also played baseball and track & field at Liberty, posting personal bests of 15.32 in the 100-meter hurdles and 39.92 in the 300-hurdles.
