Final Bio

Athletic defensive back ... A smart player ... Is excellent against the run with good coverage skills ... Not afraid of contact ... Was on the two-deep for the final five games in 2016 at left cornerback as a true freshman ... Then played in 12-of-13 in 2017, before starting the first 10 games at cornerback in 2018 ... Made the move to Field Warrior (safety) in the spring of 2019 ... Was slated to start 2019 at Boundary Warrior, but moved back to cornerback for the first two games with Darren Hall out with an injury, but went back to Boundary Warrior ... Tore his ACL in his right knee in the fifth game of the season at Colorado State and missed the rest of the year.

SENIOR SEASON (2019)
Started the team’s first five games, including the first two at cornerback and three at Boundary Warrior, before tearing his ACL in his right knee and missing the rest of the season ... Finished with 22 tackles (15 solo), including 3.0 tackles for loss, an 11-yard sack, forced fumble and two pass breakups ... Started the opener with Weber State at cornerback, where he had four solo tackles, including one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup, while playing all 51 snaps ... Came up with three tackles (two solo) in a start at cornerback at UCLA, while adding a 11-yard sack (and TFL), forced fumble and pass breakup ... Started at Boundary Warrior for the first time of the season at New Mexico State, making four tackles (three solo) in 48 snaps ... Had a career-high eight tackles (four solo) in a start at Boundary Warrior against Utah State, logging 46 snaps ... FRESHMAN (TRUE) SEASON (2016)
Had one tackle in seven games, which went down as a 10-yard sack (and tackle for loss) ... Was not on the travel squad and did not play the first six games of the season ... Was on the travel roster for the first time of his career against San José State, but did not play ... Logged the first playing time of his career at Utah State without making the stat sheet ... Logged snaps late against Hawai’i, sacking UH quarterback Dru Brown for a 10-yard loss on fourth and 5, keeping SDSU’s 55-0 shutout intact ... Also played the final five games of the season, including the MW Championship and the Las Vegas Bowl, without recording a stat.

HIGH SCHOOL
A two-year letter winner at Chandler High School in Chandler, Ariz., the same high school that former Aztec and 2014 all-MW punt returner Lloyd Mills attended ... Helped the Wolves go 24-4 (.857) over his final two years, including a 9-1 record in league play ... Chandler HS finished first in the state in 2014 and second in 2015 ... Recorded 130 tackles, four interceptions and nine pass deflections over his two seasons, including 85 stops, two interceptions, a touchdown and six pass deflections as a senior in 2015 ...
