Final Bio

Big tight end who showed drastic improvement since arriving in 2015 ... Put on 30 pounds since arriving on campus ... Missed the final 10 games of the 2016 season with a foot injury ... JUNIOR SEASON (2018)
Was an honorable mention all-Mountain West selection, voted on by the league’s media and head coaches ... Was on the Mackey Award Watch List, which goes out to the top tight end in the country ... For a second straight year was a Burlsworth Trophy nominee, which goes out to the most outstanding collegiate football player who began his career as a walk-on and has shown outstanding performance on the field ... Was a preseason fourth-team all-Mountain West selection by Athlon Sports and Phil Steele Magazine ... Played in 12 games on the season with two starts ... Had a team-high 31 catches for 372 yards (12.0 avg.) with a team-high-tying three touchdown catches and a long of 30 yards ... Also had a special teams tackle ... Came off the bench against No. 13/13 Stanford in the opener for 19 snaps, but did not find the shat sheet ... Earned his fourth career start against Sacramento State, making three catches for 73 yards (24.3 avg.) with a long of 26 yards ... Had another good game off the bench vs. No. 23/25 Arizona State, making a team-high four catches for 30 yards (7.5 avg.) and catching a 2-point conversion to put SDSU up, 28-14, in the fourth quarter ... Both of his touchdowns came in the first half, which put SDSU up, 24-15, at the half ... Had another good game in a start at New Mexico, making five catches for 61 yards (12.2 avg.) with a 19-yard touchdown catch and a long of 24 yards ... Was named to the Pro Football Focus Mountain West Team of the Week for a second straight week for his efforts ... Now has three touchdown catches this year and eight for his career ... Played in all 13 games on the season with three starts ... Had 18 catches and 248 receiving yards (13.8 avg.) with a team-high three touchdowns ... Had a career game in the opener off the bench vs. UC Davis, making five catches for 74 yards (14.8 avg.) with a touchdown and a long of 36 yards ... The 74 yards receiving were the most by an Aztec tight end since Gavin Escobar had 108 vs. UNLV on Oct. 27, 2012 ... The five catches matched the most by a SDSU tight end since Escobar hauled in six vs. Wyoming on Nov. 24, 2012 ... Had entered the game with two catches (both for touchdowns) and 17 yards ... Made an 8-yard grab off the bench at Arizona State ... Had two catches for 11 yards (5.5 avg.) with a long of seven off the bench vs. No. 19/19 Stanford ... Had a career-long 42-yard grab off the bench at Air Force in the team's first play after an hour and 28-minute lightning delay ... The catch led to a 2-yard touchdown run by Rashaad Penny, putting SDSU on the scoreboard ... Had another good game in his first career start vs. Northern Illinois, recording a team-high three catches for 39 yards (13.0 avg.) with a 8-yard touchdown and a long of 21 yards ... It was his second touchdown of the season and fourth of his career ... Had an 11-yard catch at UNLV ... Did not record a stat in playing time against Boise State or Fresno State ... Earned the start in statless time at Hawai'i ... Did not make a catch in playing time off the bench at San Jose State ... Earned the start against New Mexico, recording three catches for 15 yards and a 9-yard touchdown that got SDSU on the scoreboard in the first quarter ... FRESHMAN SEASON (2016)
Played in the team's first four games before a season-ending injury to his foot, making two catches - both for touchdowns ... Had two receptions for 17 yards (8.5 avg.) ... Played for the first time of his career in the opener against New Hampshire, but did not make the stat sheet ... Logged statless time once again vs. California ... Caught his first career pass at Northern Illinois, which was a 5-yard touchdown catch on 4th and 2 to put SDSU up, 21-0, early in the second quarter ... Caught a 12-yard touchdown pass to put SDSU up, 24-21, at South Alabama ... It was his second straight game with a catch (and touchdown catch) ... Did not play against UNLV after injuring his foot in practice during the week ... Also missed the rest of the season with the injury.  

REDSHIRT SEASON (2015)
Redshirted his first season at SDSU.  

HIGH SCHOOL
Played just one year of football at Sonora High in Sonora , Calif. ... Earned all-league accolades in his one season, catching 21 balls for 548 yards (26.1 avg.), according to MaxPreps ... Helped the Wildcats to an 11-2 record, including a perfect 6-0 league mark ... Also excelled in basketball, averaging 19.6 points and 10.8 rebounds as a senior, earning the league's MVP award ... Was also an all-conference pick in water polo ... Previously played tennis, and was a member of the cross country and swimming teams.  

PERSONAL
Kahale Kuio Kalani Michael Wodehouse Warring was born March 23, 1997, in Sonora, Calif. ... Son of Kahai Wodehouse and Nichole Longeway, and stepson of Lloyd Longeway ... Was also recruited by Nevada and Sacramento State ... Was majoring in communication.
