  • Tall, big body, who has great hands ... Seemingly catches everything thrown his way ... Worked up to No. 2 at tight end for the first time of his career at Nevada in the eighth game of the 2014 season, where he was until the offseason, when starter Daniel Brunskill moved to right tackle ... Started all 14 games in 2016, but missed the opener this year recovering from a foot injury ... Started 10 of the 12 games the rest of the way.

    Was named a second-team all-Mountain West selection by the league's coaches and media ... Also is a second-team all-MW pick by Phil Steele Magazine ... Was on the John Mackey Award Watch List (most outstanding collegiate tight end) and the Wuerffel Trophy Award Watch List (community service) ... Won the team's President's Award for high academic achievement ... Played again vs. Fresno State, at Hawai`i, at San Jose State and against Utah State, but did not record a stat ... Caught a 4-yard pass on 3rd and 4 early in the third quarter at Colorado State ... SDSU would eventually score a touchdown on the drive to take a 20-10 lead ... Did not record a stat in action against Wyoming ... Made a 2-yard grab at UNLV in a reserve role ...     HIGH SCHOOL
    Former quarterback who switched over to tight end late in his high school career ... Helped lead Clovis North High School to a CIF Central Section Division I championship and 12-2 record in 2012, recording 60 catches for 1,188 yards (19.8 avg.) and 10 touchdowns ... Was the tight end MVP at the 2012 Five-Star Showcase in Los Angeles ... A first-team all-league pick and first-team all-Valley selection as a senior ... A three-star recruit by Rivals.com, and a two-star recruit by both Scout.com and 247Sports.com ... Among tight ends in the country, was ranked 83rd by Scout and 105th by 247Sports ... Was also a forward on the basketball team and a pitcher with the baseball squad ... Helped the basketball team to a section championship.
