2021 SEASON (As A Redshirt Sophomore): Garnered first-team all-Mountain West accolades before earning second-team all-West Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) … Was named one of 16 semifinalists for the Buster Posey National Collegiate Catcher of the Year Award … Joined fellow Aztec Jaden Fein (4) as the first set of teammates to collect at least three Mountain West Player of the Week awards in the same season … Started 38 games at catcher for SDSU and made his first five career starts in left field … Ranked third on the Aztecs with a .379 batting average while pacing the team with nine home runs and a conference-leading 57 RBIs … Also ranked among the MW statistical leaders in runs scored (3rd – 53), on-base percentage (7th – .464), hits (T-7th – 64), slugging percentage (8th – .633), home runs (T-9th), total bases (10th – 107) and batting average 10th … Finished 15th in the country with 1.27 RBIs per game and occupied the 17th spot nationally with 1.18 runs per contest … Tied for third on the team with multiple hits in 21 games and ranked third with two or more RBIs in 14 outings … Ended the year with a 12-game hitting streak, which was tied for the third-longest on team, raising his batting average from .331 to .379 in that stretch … Hit .455 (8-11) and posted a .818 slugging percentage in a home series vs. Air Force to merit his first MW Player of the Week honor of the season (March 20-21) … Also racked up nine total bases, five RBIs, one homer, one double and four scored during that weekend to help the Scarlet and Black win two of three games vs. the Falcons … Was a significant contributor to the Aztecs’ huge 21-14 come-from-behind victory at Fresno State, belting the go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth, as SDSU overcame an earlier 14-5 deficit (April 18) … Also scored three runs in that contest vs. the Falcons … Picked up his second conference weekly certificate after leading the Aztecs to a three-game home sweep of Dixie State (April 24-25) … Four of his five hits that weekend against the Trailblazers came with two outs … Smacked the game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th of game two vs. DSU that gave San Diego State a dramatic 5-4 win … Batted .615 (8-13) with five doubles, seven RBIs, seven runs scored and three stolen bases in the penultimate series of the year at Air Force to earn his third MW Player of the Week award (May 22-23) … Set a career-high with three doubles, finishing with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate with three RBIs while tying his collegiate best with four runs scored in the series finale against the Falcons … Helped SDSU rally for a 6-5 victory in its penultimate game of the season at New Mexico with the go-ahead two-run double in the top of the ninth with two outs (May 28) … Ranked second in the MW with 324 putouts for the season and finished third after throwing out 11 would-be base stealers … Received SDSU scholar-athletic recognition for the fall semester.

2020 SEASON (As A Sophomore): Started 14 of 16 games at catcher in his first season on The Mesa that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Batted .286 with one home run and seven RBIs … Led the Scarlet and Black with nine walks and a .417 on-base percentage while ranking fourth on the squad with nine runs scored … Recorded multiple hits in four games, including a pair of singles in his Aztec debut vs. Virginia Tech at the Brittain Resorts Baseball by the Beach event in Conway, South Carolina, where SDSU rallied for a 7-5 win (2-14-20) … Delivered a clutch two-run single in the sixth inning of the Aztecs’ 4-1 triumph over Nebraska at the Tony Gwynn Legacy (2-22-20) … Walked and scored in San Diego State’s 6-0 shutout over Oregon State (2-29-20) ...  Went 2-for-3 with a homer and two runs scored vs. the Beavers the following day, helping the Aztecs claim a 12-11 thriller in the series finale (3-1-20) … Drew a leadoff walk in the fourth inning vs. No.17/17 Long Beach State, ultimately coming to around to score, as SDSU earned a 7-2 victory (3-3-20) … Enjoyed a solid outing in the 2020 finale at No. 11/15 Oklahoma, notching a 3-for-5 effort at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored (3-7-20) … Ranked among the Mountain West leaders in fielding chances (3rd - 152), putouts (3rd - 124) and runners caught stealing (5th - 4) … Earned a spot on the MW all-academic team following the season.

AT ANTELOPE VALLEY COLLEGE (2019 Season): Led the team in several categories during his lone season with the Marauders, including batting average (.410), hits (59) runs (32), RBIs (26), doubles (10) and triples (10) … Garnered ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Southern California second-team all-region accolades and was a Southern California all-state selection by the California Community College Baseball Coaches Association (CCCBA) … Additionally merited second-team all-conference honors and was awarded a Gold Glove … Chose the Aztecs over the likes of Arizona, Nevada, Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount, Purdue, Stanford and UT Arlington.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2017 from Paraclete High School in Lancaster, California, where he won three letters for head coach Greg Burnias … Received first-team all-Gold Coast League recognition on three occasions … Hit .392 over his final two seasons, scoring 57 runs to go with 19 doubles and 21 RBIs, according to MaxPreps … Posted a .451 batting average as a junior in 2016, smacking 16 doubles … Also racked up three saves in five pitching appearances that year … Landed a spot on the Dean’s List all four years.
