PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2023 from Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California, where he helped the Mustangs capture the Bay League championship and a berth in the CIF Southern Section Division I playoffs in his lone season on campus… Also attended Temecula Preparatory School in Winchester, California, where he was three-year varsity performer from 2019-22… Combined for a 9-3 record with a 3.61 ERA in his three seasons with the Patriots, according to MaxPreps… Posted 93 strikeouts in 62.0 innings across 19 appearances while limiting the opposition to a collective .211 batting average… Also slashed .389/.500/.646 in his three years at Temecula Prep, smacking 16 doubles and five triples to go with 35 RBIs, 38 runs scored and 13 stolen bases… Led the South Valley League with four victories and 45 strikeouts as a senior, helping his squad capture the regular-season conference championship and advance to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division VII playoffs… Received a No. 10 ranking among left-handed pitchers in California for the 2023 recruiting class and was rated 236th in the state overall… Was also listed as a Top 500 national recruit by the website… Earned preseason all-region honorable mention from Perfect Game prior to the 2023 campaign after earning the same distinction as an underclassman the previous two years… Garnered all-tournament accolades at multiple events sponsored by Perfect Game, including the 2021 16U WWBA West National Championships in Surprise, Arizona, where he competed for the Canes West Gold club team.
