2023 SEASON (As a Redshirt Sophomore): Appeared in 11 games during his first year on The Mesa, totaling five hits in 25 at-bats (.200) to go with one home run and four RBIs… Made five starts in right field and one in left… Was inserted as a pinch hitter on five other occasions… Earned his first starting assignment in a Scarlet and Black uniform vs. UConn in right (3-19-23)… Enjoyed a breakout game on the road vs. New Mexico with a 3-for-3 effort at the plate, belting a three-run homer while adding an RBI single in the Aztecs’ 19-7 romp (4-2-23)… Also went 2-for-5 with a run scored in SDSU’s 14-5 home victory over UC Riverside (4-5-23)… Completed eight put-outs without an error on the season for a clean 1.000 fielding percentage.
2022 SEASON (At NC State): Made two starts in nine appearances during his lone season with the Wolfpack … Totaled two hits in nine at-bats (.222), highlighted by his first Division I collegiate home run—a solo shot—in NC State’s 13-5 romp at UNC Greensboro (3-8-22) … Also singled vs. Boston College (4-15-22) … Walked and scored a run to help NC State secure a 15-10 triumph at Louisville (4-23-22) … Finished with two putouts on the year.
2021 SEASON: Did not compete.
2020 SEASON (At Palomar College): Played in 18 games during his lone season with Comets before the COVID-19 pandemic ended the season … Batted .327 with two home runs and 21 RBIs, finishing with a .514 on-base percentage and a .596 slugging percentage … Totaled 17 hits, including six doubles and one triple, while adding 15 runs scored and a stolen base … Finished with multiple hits in four games and drove in two or more runs on six occasions … Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run score in a wild 15-11 victory over Fullerton College (2-1-20) … Drove in a season-high four runs against the same Hornet squad the following week (2-8-20) … Logged a 3-for-3 performance with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 12-5 triumph at College of the Desert (2-19-20) … Matched his season best with four RBIs, highlighted by a two-run triple in a 19-2 thumping of Imperial Valley College (3-9-20).
PRIOR TO COLLEGE: Graduated in 2018 from La Costa Canyon High School where he was a two-year varsity competitor under head coach Justin Machado … Hit three home runs as a senior, according to MaxPreps … Helped the Mavericks capture the Avocado League West title during his junior season in 2017 … Received preseason All-America honorable mention for the California region from Perfect Game prior to the 2018 campaign after meriting the same distinction an underclassman the previous year ….
