2021 SEASON (As A Freshman): Started 15 of 19 games at third base during his rookie campaign … Batted .240 (12-50) with two doubles and eight runs scored … Also drew eight walks, finishing with a .397 on-base percentage … Recorded his first two collegiate hits and runs scored in the second game of a doubleheader at San José State (3-27-21) … Collected a season-high three hits and scored two additional runs in the Aztecs’ 15-0 run-rule victory over New Mexico (4-3-21) … Notched his first career double in the first game of a twin bill vs. Nevada (4-10-21) … Walked and scored a key run o help the Scarlet and Black rally for a 5-4 triumph over Dixie State in the nightcap of a doubleheader (4-24-21) … Also led off the third with a double in that contest vs. the Trailblazers … Totaled 14 putouts and 17 assists in the field.  

SUMMER 2020
Garnered first-team all-league accolades playing for the Wild squad in the San Diego Collegiate Baseball League ... Also played for Team Land in the San Diego League's All-Star game.

PRIOR TO COLLEGE
Graduated from St. Augustine High School, where was a four-year varsity starter under Coach Craig Da Luz ... Hit .310 during his prep career with eight homers and 20 doubles and 58 runs scored, according to MaxPreps … Finished with a .330 as a sophomore in 2018 … Received first-team all-Western League honors ... Also played for Team West in the CIF San Diego Section All-Star game at Petco Park in 2019 ... Landed a spot on the all-state team by the California State Coaches Association in 2020 ... Was named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic team … Earned 2020 preseason All-American honors for the California Region by Perfect Game and was listed as a top 500 prospect by the website …  Was also rated as the 18th-best shortstop in California by Perfect Game and 126th nationally at his position … Merited preseason Underclass All-America high honorable mention from Perfect Game between 2016-19 … Additionally landed on the Baseball Factory Under Armour Preseason All-America team 2018.  Played four years for the CBA/Marucci club program ... His squad captured the 2019 WWBA 17U West National Championship … Selected to the 2018 PG Underclass All-American Games held at USD … Saw action as an infielder, outfielder and pitcher at age 13 for the Chula Vista South team that defeated the Dominican Republic to capture the 2015 Pony League World Series Championship … Led his team in batting and home runs … Chose the Aztecs early in the recruiting process over USC, Arizona, USD and UCLA.

Was a prep teammate of fellow Aztec freshmen Charlie Rhee and CBA teammate of Pancho Ruiz ... Plans to major in  business entrepreneurship.
