2021 SEASON (As A Redshirt Junior):
Made three relief appearances during his second year on The Mesa, yielding four earned runs on five hits in 5.1 innings … Picked up his second victory as an Aztec after a scoreless outing at Air Force, where he allowed just one hit against two strikeouts in the final 2.1 innings of a 20-13 slugfest (5-23-21) … Pitched a season-long 2.2 innings in the season finale at New Mexico, giving up one earned run on four hits and two walks (5-29-21) … Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team.

2020 SEASON (As A Junior): Enjoyed a solid debut for the Aztecs despite pitching in a season that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Posted a 1-0 record in four appearances, including one start … Did not allow a run in 6.1 innings, countering four hits and four walks with five strikeouts … Saw his first action for the Scarlet and Black vs. UNC Greensboro at the Brittain Resorts Baseball by the Beach event in Conway, South Carolina, where he offset one hit with a strikeout in one inning pitched (2-16-20) … Earned the victory in his first start for SDSU at UC Irvine, giving up two hits and two walks while striking out one in 3.1 innings, as the Aztecs held on for a 2-1 triumph (2-25-20) … Helped combine on SDSU’s 6-0 shutout of Oregon State by offsetting two walks with a pair of strikeouts in the top of the ninth (2-29-20) … Also pitched the final frame of the Aztecs’ 7-2 win over No. 17/17 Long Beach State (3-3-20).

AT CENTRAL ARIZONA COLLEGE (2018-19): Transferred to San Diego State after playing two seasons for the Vaqueros under head coach Anthony Gilich … Helped CAC capture the NJCAA Division I national championship in 2019 … Vaqueros were also Western District and Region 1 champions … Tied for second on the team with eight victories and ranked fourth with 66 strikeouts, finishing with a 4.26 earned run average in 80.1 innings during his sophomore campaign … Was also recruited by Washington State, Seattle, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Pacific and Nevada.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2017 from Gig Harbor (Wash.) High School, where he won three varsity letters for head coach Peter Jansen … Helped the Tides capture the Washington 3A state championship as a senior, capping a 22-3 season for the squad ... Twice merited first-team all-conference honors and was a first-team all-area selection … Also earned three letters in basketball at power forward during his prep career, collecting second-team all-league honors as a senior.
