2021 SEASON (As A Redshirt Sophomore): Is the lone Aztec returner to have played in all 46 games during the 2021 campaign … Made 36 starts at designated hitter, seven on the mound and one in left field … Enjoyed a solid year at the plate, posting career highs in batting average (.305), RBIs (47), hits (46), runs scored (29) and walks (20) … His RBI total was tied for third in the Mountain West … Also set personal bests in slugging percentage (.404) and on-base percentage (.348) … Shared the top spot in the nation with nine sacrifice flies … Finished with two or more hits in 13 games and had multiple RBIs in 12 contests … Hit clean-up in 20 games and batted in the sixth spot in 16 outings … Batted .404 (21-52) and drove in 20 runs with two outs … Was also 5-or-6 (.833) on the year with the bases loaded … Opened with a season-long seven-game hitting streak from Feb. 19-28 … Helped the Scarlet and Black take two of three games in the season-opening series vs. San Diego after hitting .538 (7-13) with seven RBIs and five runs scored (2-19/21-21) … Fueled the Aztecs’ doubleheader sweep at UC San Diego after combining for six RBIs, including a clutch two-run single in the top of the 11th in game one … Also smacked a two-run homer in the nightcap and was the winning pitcher in that contest after posting a season-best four strikeouts in 2.1 innings of relief (2-28-21) … Batted .533 (8-15) with six RBIs and five runs scored in a three-game series at Fresno State (4-17/18-21) … Contributed to SDSU’s wild 21-14 comeback victory in the weekend finale vs. the Bulldogs with a key two-run double with two outs in the sixth, as the Scarlet and Black plated eight runs in the frame en route to overcoming a 14-5 deficit … Set career highs with four hits and six RBIs, highlighted by a pair of two-run doubles in the Aztecs’ 17-3 run-rule victory in game one at Air Force (5-22-21) … Made 15 pitching appearances, including seven starts, posting a 1-2 record with a 6.19 ERA and 24 strikeouts … Tossed a season-long 4.2 innings but did not earn a decision in SDSU’s 11-10 comeback victory at New Mexico in the season finale (5-29-21) … Earned a spot on the Mountain West all-academic team.

SUMMER 2020: Played for the Warriors' entry in the San Diego League, hitting .260 with three HRs, four doubles, 14 RBIs and nine runs scored ... Earned a spot in the league's All-Star game for his efforts.

2020 SEASON (As A Sophomore):Played all 16 games for the Aztecs in a 2020 campaign that was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Made seven starts at both first base and designated hitter as well as two on the mound … Shared the team lead with two home runs and topped the squad with 12 RBIs while hitting .269 for the year … Also ranked third on the team with six walks and 10 runs scored while occupying the seventh spot with 14 hits … Reached base in all 15 outings he appeared as a batter and posted hitting streaks of four and six games … Raised his batting average from .185 to .290 during that latter stretch … Finished with two hits in four different games, including a 2-for-4 performance in a 3-1 triumph at Coastal Carolina, where he delivered a run-scoring single in the top of the first (2-14-20) … Smacked his first home run of the year the following day vs. UNC Greensboro with a two-run blast in the third (2-15-20) … Singled and scored in the third inning of SDSU’s 4-1 victory over Iowa in the Tony Gwynn Legacy (2-21-20) … Delivered an RBI groundout in a 2-1 shaving of UC Irvine on the road (2-25-20) … Keyed the Aztecs’ 12-11 thriller over Oregon State in the series finale with a grand slam on a 1-1 pitch in the fourth (3-1-20) … Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a 7-2 home victory over No. 17/17 Long Beach State (3-3-20) … Recorded RBIs in the final two games of a road set at No. 11/15 Oklahoma (3-7/8-20) … Appeared in four games as a pitcher, posting a 0-0 record with a 2.08 ERA and seven strikeouts in 8.2 innings … Had two relief stints of one inning apiece vs. No. 24 Cal State Fullerton (2-18-20) and against USC (2-23-20), allowing one earned run in the latter game vs. the Trojans … Received his first start of the season in the series opener against Oregon State, allowing one earned run on two hits and three walks while fanning three batters in 2.2 innings (2-27-20) … Garnered his second start vs. No. 17/17 Long Beach State but did not earn the decision, offsetting two hits and two walks with three more strikeouts in 4.0 scoreless innings (3-3-20).

2019 SEASON (As A Freshman): Enjoyed a solid debut for the Scarlet and Black, hitting .272 in 48 games played … Finished second on the team with 14 doubles and ranked third with 34 RBIs … Posted a team-high .389 batting average with runners in scoring position and topped the squad with 16 two-out RBIs …  Also occupied the fourth spot with multiple RBIs in seven games and ranked fifth with 16 multi-hit performances … Hit .800 (4-5) with the bases loaded … Led the Aztec freshman class with 45 starts, including 34 at first base, seven at designated hitter, two in left field and two at pitcher … Reeled off a season-long seven-game hitting streak from April 5-14, batting .429 (12-28) with four doubles and 12 RBIs during that span … Drew a walk, stole second and scored in SDSU’s 8-4 season-opening victory over San Francisco (2-15-19) … Went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs, propelling the Aztecs past UC Irvine, 9-3 (2-19-19) … Batted .500 (5-10) with seven RBIs and two runs scored in a three-game sweep of visiting Seattle (3-15/17-19) … Smacked his first career triple in the series finale vs. the Redhawks … Tied his season high with three hits in an 11-3 triumph at Nevada (4-7-19) … Helped SDSU clinch its first series victory at Cal State Fullerton since 1965 after finishing with two hits and four RBIs in a 13-7 game-two win (4-13-19) … Was also credited with his first collegiate pitching victory in that contest vs. the Titans with 2.1 innings of relief … Tossed 17.2 innings in nine mound appearances overall as a freshman, finishing with a 6.62 ERA … Struck out a season-high five batters in 3.1 innings during the Aztecs’ 6-4 win over Arizona (3-25-19) … Belted his first career home run in the second inning of SDSU’s 4-2 road victory at San Diego (4-23-19).      

HIGH SCHOOL: Won four varsity letters at nearby Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California for head coach David Gallegos ... Garnered all-CIF accolades on two occasions and was a three-time all-Metro Mesa League honoree ... Earned MVP and Player of the Year honors in high school ... Earned Best Pitcher award in 2014 for Team USA All-Development team ... Hit .415 with five home runs while owning a 11-1 record on the mound ... Helped the team capture three Metro Mesa league championships, one state title and one CIF Open Division crown. Also played shooting guard for the basketball team and was a two-time team MVP.
