2020 SEASON (As A Junior): Pitched in seven games, including one start, during the 2020 slate that was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Finished with a 1-1 record and a 3.86 earned run average to go with 10 walks and 15 strikeouts … Did not allow an earned run in his first six appearances and did not yield an extra-base hit in 14 innings for the year … Registered three strikeouts in four different outings, with the Aztecs posting a 4-0 record in those games … Earned his lone victory of the year in SDSU’s 4-1 triumph over Iowa in the Tony Gwynn Legacy despite allowing one run on two hits and a walk against a trio of strikeouts in 1.1 innings (2-21-20) … Also fanned three batters in Aztec wins at Coastal Carolina (2-15-20), versus No. 24 Cal State Fullerton (2-18-20) and against Oregon State (2-29-20) … Retired all six batters he faced in the latter contest vs. the Beavers, combining on a 6-0 shutout for the Scarlet and Black … Earned his first collegiate start in the series finale at No. 11/15 Oklahoma, pitching a season-long 2.2 innings but did not pick up a decision (3-8-20).

2019 SEASON (As A Sophomore): Saw action in 19 games as a reliever, posting a 2-0 record with a 4.98 earned run average and 23 strikeouts … Finished the year with five scoreless appearances from April 19-May 10, striking out seven batters against three walks in six innings pitched … Lowered his ERA from 6.75 to 4.98 during that stretch … Notched a career-high four strikeouts in 1.1 innings to earn his first collegiate victory in SDSU’s 6-3 triumph over San Francisco in the second game of a doubleheader (2-16-19) … Collected his second win of the year after tossing another 1.1 innings in the Aztecs’ 8-5 come-from-behind victory over  Nevada (3-9-19) … Matched his personal-best with four strikeouts in his final appearance of the year at Fresno State (5-10-19) … Compiled a 3.48 ERA in nine games vs. Mountain West opponents (10.1 innings).

SUMMER 2018: Pitched in eight games with seven starts for the Peninsula Oilers of the Alaska Baseball League ... Recorded a 3.78 earned run average and struck out 22 batters over 33.1 innings pitched ... Allowed just four earned runs over his final 15.2 innings of the season, racking up a 2.30 ERA during that span.

2018 SEASON (As A Freshman): Recorded a strong 1.76 ERA over 15.1 innings pitched and 14 appearances... Did not allow a run in 10 of his 14 appearances... Held New Mexico hitless in a season-long 2.2-inning outing at New Mexico (5-4-18) ... Allowed only one extra-base hit on the season... Did not allow more than two hits in any outing... Held opponents to a .212 batting average with runners on base... Held opponents to a .231 on-base percentage when leading off an inning... Recorded a 1.04 ERA in Mountain West play (six appearances, 8.2 innings pitched).

HIGH SCHOOL: A2017 graduate of Barstow High School … Ranked as the No. 16 California Class of 2017 left-handed pitcher according to Perfect Game … 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American… Perfect Game California Region Honorable Mention … 2016 Underclass Honorable Mention by Perfect Game… Logged a 0.27 ERA in 52.1 innings pitched as a senior at Barstow HS … Finished his three-year varsity career with a 2.21 ERA… Struck out 212 batters in 158.2 innings pitched … Also hit .415 with three home runs and 45 RBI in 60 career games at the plate.
