Played for the Brazos Valley Bombers in the Texas Collegiate League during summer 2016 where he was named a Second Team Summer Collegiate All-American by Perfect Game ... Compiled a record of 5-1 with a 1.01 earned run average over nine appearances (seven starts, two complete games) ... Recorded 52 strikeouts and 11 walks over 44.2 innings and led the league in ERA ... Competed for the Eau Claire (Wis.) Express in the Northwoods League during the summer of 2014 ... Made 11 appearances including four starts and had a record of 2-2 with a 3.43 earned run average ... Made three relief appearances at the Mountain West Conference tournament, the last resulting in two scoreless innings vs. New Mexico in the championship contest on May 24 ... Longest start was 5.2 innings at UC Riverside on Feb. 21 in which he gave up a run on five hits with a season-high five strikeouts ... Left the game with a 2-1 lead, but was not involved in the decision as UCR came back before SDSU won with a late rally ...
