It was one of two complete games by an SDSU pitcher during the season ... Notched a victory at Air Force on May 9 when he tossed the final four frames in a game won by SDSU in 10 innings ... Threw 3.1 innings of relief vs. St. Mary's on May 16 allowing a hit while striking out six ... Had a season- and career-high eight strikeouts at No. 19 UC Irvine on April 14 ... Was involved in three contests during the Mountain West Tournament, facing New Mexico on March 22 and UNLV on May 24 and in the title game on May 25 ... In those three appearances he tossed a total of 4.1 innings allowing a run on five hits with no walks and two strikeouts ... In the championship game went 2.1 innings surrendering no runs on three hits with no walks ... First start came in the middle game of the series at Nevada on April 12 ... Longest appearance was 5.2 innings of relief against Air Force on April 5 when he allowed no runs on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts while recording a win ... Longest start was 5.1 innings vs. UC Riverside on April 15 (no runs, two hits, three walks, four strikeouts) ... His four strikeouts in that game were a season high matching the total he had in the contest vs. Air Force ... Compiled a record of 4-1 with a 1.07 earned run average in games at Tony Gwynn Stadium this season (seven appearances, two starts) ...
