Named the Mountain West Player of the Week on March 14 after hitting .600 (9-for-15) with six runs scored, 5 runs batted in and one stolen bases in the three-game series vs. Northwestern (March 10-12) ... Led the team with 23 multiple-hit contests including one four-hit effort ... Third on the team in multiple-RBI games with seven ... First home run came at No. 10 Texas Tech on April 16) ... The home run was his first as an Aztec and came on May 23 vs. UNM ... Recorded 10 multiple-hit efforts including a career-high four-hit game at UC Riverside on Feb. 22 ... Personal-best three runs scored at Long Beach State on March 10 ... Had a high of two RBI on three occasions, most recently vs. Air Force on March 22 ... Longest hitting streak of five games from April 21-28 when he went 6-for-15 with a double, three RBI and two runs scored ... Over the final five games of the season hit .563 (9-for-16) with a triple, home run, four runs scored and seven runs batted in ... Also appeared as a relief pitcher in three contests, the last time vs. Nevada on April 17 when he tossed an inning allowing two hits with a strikeout ...
