Had a four-game hitting streak on two occasions, once early in the year and the other late in the season ... From Feb. 23-25 went 6-for-15 (.400) with a double, four runs and five RBI ... Over four-game stretch in early May (May 1-6) went 6-for-15 (.400) with a home run, three runs scored and six RBI ... During the season committed only one error (198 chances) for a .995 fielding percentage at first base ... Batted .184 in 13 Mountain West contests.

Began his junior college career at Orange Coast College under Coach John Altobelli for the 2009 season, but did not play there ... Moved to Golden West College where he played for two seasons... Coach there by Bert Villarreal ... As a sophomore at Golden West in 2011 hit .298 with 16 doubles, three triples, a home run, 23 runs scored and 29 RBI ... Team captain ... As a freshman batted .396 with 19 doubles, four home runs, 37 runs scored and 39 runs batted in ... Named second-team all-Orange Empire Conference ... Selected team MVP.

HIGH SCHOOL
Won a pair of varsity letters as a baseball player at Fountain Valley (Calif.) High School where he was coached by Joe McDonald ... As a senior was a second-team all-sunset League honoree after hitting .378 ...Named to the Orange County All-Star team as well as the Sunset League all-Star squad ... Chosen team captain and MVP ...
