Finished the league season with a record of 3-1 and a 3.27 earned run average ... His ERA in league games was eighth-best in the MWC while his .233 opponent batting average ranked fifth ... His overall ERA of 3.23 ranked eighth in the league while his .218 opponent batting average was fourth ... Began the season as a member of the SDSU bullpen with his first five appearances coming in a relief role... In those five relief appearances covering 16 innings he had a 2.25 earned run average with four walks and 14 strikeouts ... His longest outing was nine innings at BYU when he surrendered two runs (one earned) on six hit ... Was not involved in the decision as the game went to extra innings ...
