Hit .315 in league play with 10 doubles, four home runs, 19 RBI and 15 runs scored in 24 contests ... Tied a school record with three home runs at Air Force on April 21 ... He hit solo homers in the second and sixth innings plus a two-run blast in the eighth ... His effort tied the SDSU record held jointly by Brad Gennaro (4/4/92 at Air Force) and Javier Ramos (3/21/99 at Air Force) ... Also had a single in the game to finish with four hits, four RBI and three runs scored ... Put together a 15-game hitting streak, longest by an Aztec during the 2011 season from March 4-26 ... During that run he hit .363 with seven doubles, a triple, two home runs and 14 runs batted in ... Led the team with 18 doubles ... His 39 career two-baggers ties him for 13th on the all-time Aztec list ... Did not commit an error in SDSU[apos]s last 43 games (129 chances at catcher and 50 chances in the outfield).

SAN DIEGO STATE 2010
Saw majority of his playing time at third base and has also made eight appearances at catcher along with three starts in the outfield ... Third on the squad with six home runs ... Had a personal season-best eight-game hitting streak from April 7-16 during which he hit 357 (10-for-28) seven runs scored and 11 runs batted in ... Also had a pair of seven-game and one six-game hitting streak in 2010 ... Suffered a minor knee injury while legging out a two-run triple in his first at bat during last the game against Air Force on May 8 ... His five RBI against Air Force on April 10 was a career high ... Had a pair of doubles in that game as well ... Went 4-for-9 with three RBI in the final two games of against UNLV (May 21-22) ... Tied for the team lead with 14 doubles ... Had a single in his lone pinch hitting appearance of the season, that coming vs. UC Riverside on Feb. 23.

SAN DIEGO STATE 2009
Started 16 times behind the plate and as the designated hitter on 15 occasions as a freshman ... Made his first (and only) appearance at third base in the final inning of the contest against UC Davis at PETCO Park on April 3 ... Had a 4-for-4 night against Kansas (March 18) in his third game and first start of the season ... His single in the bottom of the eighth drove in the tying run as the Aztecs went on to win that contest in the bottom of the ninth ... Hit his first collegiate home run in the win at TCU on March 27 ... Followed that with a three-run homer in the victory at UC Santa Barbara in SDSU[apos]s next contest ... Had a season-best five-game hitting streak (April 19-May 3), going 8-for-20 (.400) ... Had two hits in four appearances in a pinch hitting role ... Committed only one error in 118 chances at the catching position ... Hit .310 in conference play.

HIGH SCHOOL
Won three varsity letters as a baseball player at Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego ... Played there under head coach Gary Remiker ... Primarily a catcher, but also played some at third base ... A two-time Cal-Hi Sports all-state team member (middle-sized schools), all-CIF first team selection and all-Western League honoree ... As a senior batted .413 with 10 home runs, 46 runs batted in and a .770 slugging percentage ... CIF Division III player of the year ... San Diego Union Tribune all-county first team and San Diego Hall of Champions all-CIF first team ... Named Best Catcher in San Diego by the Union Tribune ...
