Played for the Dupage Dragons (Lisle, Ill.) in the Prospect League during summer 2010 ... Compiled a record of 8-1 with a 1.86 ERA ... Held opponents to a .225 batting average ... Played during the summer of 2009 with the San Diego Force ... Went 5-0 with a 2.03 earned run average, striking out 43 over 31 innings ... Won all five of his starts and also made a pair of relief appearances ... Team competed at the NBC College World Series in Wichita where he appeared in one contest.

SAN DIEGO STATE 2010
Led the Aztecs with 29 pitching appearances (28 in relief) and also ranked first in the conference in that category ... His one start came against Fresno State on March 13 when he went 3.0 innings and suffered a loss ... Picked up the win in the game at UC Irvine, getting the final out in the ninth inning after SDSU had taken the lead in the top of the frame ... Recorded a save with 1.2 innings of work against Air Force in San Diego on May 9 ... Longest relief appearance was 3.2 innings vs. Stony Brook on March 30 ... Had a season-high five strikeouts in that game ... Did not commit an error over his 33 innings of work ... Did not throw a wild pitch during the season.

Played during the 2009 season of baseball at Southwestern Junior College in Chula Vista, Calif., where he was coached by Jerry Bartow ... Made a pair of starts and 18 relief appearances, tossing a total of 36 innings and finishing with a 3.00 earned run average ... Attended Orange Coast college where he played during the 2008 season under coach John Altobelli ... Made five relief appearances covering five innings and turned in a 4.50 ERA while allowing just three hits.
