Other start came in season finale against New Mexico at the Mountain West Tournament in Last Vegas (May 26) ... Winning pitcher with 6.1 innings of work at UNLV on May 20, allowing three runs on seven hits with five strikeouts ... Picked up the victory in SDSU[apos]s win over No. 14 California on March 4 ... .Went seven innings, allowing a run on four hits with a walk and seven strikeouts ... .Retired 13 of the final 14 hitters he faced including 11 in a row from the third through sixth innings ... His seven strikeouts in that contest tied his career high which he set in his previous outing vs. University of San Diego on Feb. 25 ... Recorded another victory in his next outing in the win over New Mexico on March 18 ... His seven innings against both California and New Mexico were his longest outings of the season.

Made 10 appearances in his first season of college baseball including six starts ... Had season debut delayed due to injury ... His first appearance came on March 13 vs. Fresno State when he tossed a perfect ninth inning striking out two ... First outing in a starting role was at New Mexico on March 28 when he went 5.1 innings and took the loss in a one-run contest ... Earned Mountain West Conference Pitcher of the Week honors the following week during series at nationally-ranked TCU ... In the series finale he held the Horned Frogs scoreless for seven innings before departing with a 1-0 lead ... SDSU would win the game but he was not involved in the decision ...
