Over the final eight games of the season went 12-for-31 (.387) with two doubles, two home runs, five runs scored and 11 RBI ... Third on the squad with six home runs ... Hit his first collegiate home run at PETCO Park (home of the San Diego Padres) against UC Davis on April 3 ... Collected his second the next afternoon against the same team ... His third and fourth homers came in back-to-back contests (vs. Air Force on May 10 and San Francisco on May 11) ... In the regular season finale at Utah on May 16, had a pair of homers including a solo shot in the eighth and a two-out three-run blast in the ninth that tied the game at 7-7 and sent it to extra innings ... He would eventually come on pitch in the bottom of the 12th and get the final out to earn his first save in his only relief appearance of the year ... Tied his season high with three hits in that game and set a personal best with four RBI ... Also added a three-hit effort vs. Utah at the MWC tourney on May 23 ... Made 11 appearances on the mound as the team[apos]s No. 4 starter ... His first collegiate win came vs. Kansas when he went seven innings, allowing no runs on three hits.
