SAN DIEGO STATE 2008
Began the year as a member of the Aztec starting rotation ... Opened the season with a win over fifth-ranked San Diego, going 7.0 innings and allowing no runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts ... Picked up his second win of the year in the 4-0 victory over Harvard when he tossed 8.0 innings, allowing just two hits with a pair of walks and four strikeouts ... That contest was his longest outing of the season ... Season-high five strikeouts came in his start vs. Arizona on April 8 ... Over the final third of the season was a short middle relief specialist, making seven appearances out of the bullpen prior to his start at Cal State Fullerton in the regular-season finale (May 17) ... Longest relief stint was 1.2 innings on two occasions (vs. TCU April 27 and at Arizona April 30) ... Best relief outing came on May 13 vs. Long Beach State when he went one inning, walking one and striking out one.
