SAN DIEGO STATE 2009
Five of his six starts came in the designated hitter role with the other at first base ... Recorded game-winning hits in a pair of contests in mid-March ... On March 18 against Kansas, had a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the ninth in the Aztecs[apos] 9-8 win over the Jayhawks ... On March 24 vs. Southern Utah, his two-run double in the bottom of the eighth drove in the team[apos]s seventh and eighth runs of the night in an 8-7 victory ... Went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in a pinch hitting role ... Started SDSU[apos]s three-run rally in the 12th inning of the win vs. Utah on May16 with a pinch-hit single ... Hit safely in the two games in which he played during that series ... Season-high two hits and two runs scored in a start as the designated hitter vs. Santa Clara on May 2 ... Recorded his lone home run of the year in that contest as well.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
A two-time first-team all-Pacific Coast Conference at Palomar College ... Was coached there by Buck Taylor ... As a sophomore in 2008, batted .327 with eight doubles, five home runs (tied for the team lead) and 27 RBI ... Broke out of a mid-season slump as he went 20-for-30 in an eight-game span from March 20 through April 5 ... Was honored as Pacific Coast Conference Men[apos]s Athlete of the Week for all sports for the week ending April ... Led the Comets in Pacific Coast Conference play with a .397 batting average ... Drove in 12 runs in conference ... Had a .603 slugging percentage with six doubles and three home runs. ... As a freshman hit .349 while starting 42 of 43 games at first base ...
